Project Beaumont

A light and bright modern home| Full Refurbishment

When we started this project the brief was to give the house a new identity enabling the client to feel like they had put their stamp on it.

Essentially the footprint of the house stayed the same, but we knocked walls internally to create more space in the kitchen/dining room, we also introduced a clever pocket door to create access to the living room for entertaining.

For the upstairs we focused on upcycling some of the existing furniture such as the wardrobes, beds and lockers which was very successful and really gave it a modern feel.

What our clients said.....

For a long time, Rachel helped to design new spaces for family, friends and friends of friends as her hobby but finally decided to take the plunge full time. Red Island is unique because by getting to know our clients, we can work with their budget to create their dream space. We love to mix old and new and take great pride in upcycling kitchens and furniture. It is a privilege to be asked to help someone make their house a home or indeed to recreate their existing home.
