Transforming the space into a bright and functional family home through thoughtful reconfiguration

This transformative renovation reimagined both the ground floor layout and outdoor living spaces of a dark, disconnected family home. By removing internal walls, relocating the kitchen and introducing expansive glazing throughout, we created a bright, open and highly connected home that flows effortlessly from room to room.

The redesigned layout now offers the family three distinct yet sociable living spaces, providing flexibility for everyday life while encouraging connection and togetherness. At the heart of the home is a beautiful open-plan kitchen that is flooded with natural light. Thoughtfully designed with ample storage and practical functionality, it is also warm, inviting and perfectly suited to family life, a space where everyday moments and lasting memories can be made.

The transformation extends seamlessly outdoors. Through a complete redesign of the garden and careful selection of materials, the exterior has become a natural extension of the home. What was once an underutilised outdoor area is now a light-filled, welcoming space that enhances the sense of openness and connection throughout the property.

The result is a contemporary family home that feels brighter, larger and more cohesive, with beautifully connected indoor and outdoor spaces designed for modern living.
